About the Pre-Sales Engineer position

We are looking for a hardworking, smart and over-achieving Pre-sales Engineer with a passion for selling technology solutions to senior executives.

You will be responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction, and contribution to overall sales team and business success.

Pre-Sales Engineer responsibilities are:

  • Supporting sales executives with solution selling into prospect account

  • Partnering with sales executives to execute strategic deals

  • Responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing viable RAN Hardware solutions based on the customer specifications and business needs.

  • Collecting competitive intelligence

  • Creating superb presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition

  • Managing all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses

  • Effectively communicating client needs to the R&D teams

Pre-Sales Engineer requirements are:

  • Experience in selling technical solutions

  • Understanding of RAN technology 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G

  • Strong knowledge of RAN Hardware modules, end to end functionality of RAN hardware

  • Being familiar with the platforms associated with this line of work

  • Excellent creativity and presentation skills

  • Being able to forge long-lasting relationships with executives

  • Superb communication skills

  • Strong technology and technical knowledge

  • BA/BSc or Asc degree in Electrical Engineering, Business or related field with numeracy base
